Friction Burn On Penis

James

asked 2 years ago

Hello everyone,

After having had an unprotected sexual relationship with my usual partner, I realized that just under the crown of the glans (on the left side) I got a little excoriation due almost certainly to vaginal dryness. This “tear” did not take off immediately and when I have sex it gives me much trouble and the small wound reopens. The general practitioner tells me that it is nothing serious and according to him it is one of those friction burns that will heal itself with a little time and patience. So he didn’t want to give me creams or anything but the advice to keep the part clean and wait for it to heal on its own. Now it is not that I question his advice but it is a month that a small white layer is created above (I think it is a sort of crust) and probably because the area is damp does not heal as a regular excoriation.

Could you give me some advice on how to best treat this small wound so that it heals as quickly as possible? Do I have to keep I don’t know… a plaster to keep it dry or do I have to leave the area open so that it stays in the air? Is there any cream or anything else I can apply? I thank you in advance!

Dear user, the symptoms like the ones you describe your doctor must immediately exclude particular clinical situations of a non-infectious type but borne by genital dermatology, first of all, ringworm. Therefore I would invite you to plan in a reasonable time and without applying DIY therapies, a Dermo-Venereological visit to clarify this and other possible hypotheses. Best wishes.

Low Hanging Balls With Or Without Erection

Ernest

asked 2 years ago

Hello everyone,

I’m noticing a problem in my testicles, I’ve been observing it for a while now; my testicles are permanently lowered, except in the case of cold or rare cases, but the thing that upsets me is that during each erection they are always soft and very low, more than normal I would say.. usually they should rise in erection, but this does not happen EVER! I am waiting for answers, thanks in advance, best regards!

Dear User, the explicit clinical picture does not suspect the presence of pathological states. It is true that, in general, the scrotum contracts in some situations, erection, cold, stress, etc., but… it is not an exportable rule for all. If you are still concerned, ask your doctor to perform an andrological examination and a spermiogram. Regards!

Side Effects Of Masturbation: Will I Experience Sexual Health Problems?

Benedict

asked 2 years ago

Hi, my question may seem trivial or rhetorical, but in any case still fashionable among the young and not so young as me… I am a 26 year old man, since I was 11 I masturbate with a certain regularity.. from when I was 20 years old every day… now I have had a girlfriend for about 5 years… despite this I keep masturbating… I wanted to ask you sincerely if this “habit” can bring problems in the future… which impotence or inflammation of the prostate or urethra!… I was also wondering if excessive masturbation brings damage to the corpora cavernosa… such as vein difficulty in holding back the blood!… I know it may seem a naive or stupid question… but for me it’s very important!… thanks.

Why Sweat Smells Like Vinegar?

Ruppert

asked 2 years ago

Hi, I’m a young man of 34 years. For a few days I realize I have a probable acid sweating. I realize that sweat on my armpits smells like vinegar and I can’t remember having it before. I always had a normal sweating and I never noticed that it had a bad smell

Is it possible that the problem derives from food? Let me explain: in recent times, between birthday parties and summer evenings, I have exaggerated a little with fried foods, meat and even a few glasses of wine too much and have eaten little fiber foods. Are there any foods to prefer or others to avoid? what else can I do as a solution?

Dear User, the diet itself does not involve a change in the Ph (degree of acidity) of the sweat which, however, if it has a strong smell must necessarily be considered more acidic. The chemical component of sweat depends on various other factors and its increase (hyperhidrosis) is often attributed to environmental factors and psychophysical stress.

Peyronie’s Disease Starting A Month Ago: Is ED Inevitable?

Felipe

asked 2 years ago

Hello, I am 45 years old and I have just been diagnosed with peyronie’s disease. For about a month I had felt a nodule on the shaft of the penis, under the glans, at first small, then growing larger and it was beginning to give me some discomfort during intercourse. The andrologist had no doubts in diagnosing Peyronie that wraps both the cavernous bodies, above and below and perhaps for this reason, he says, it does not create bending of the penis. He prescribed me 2 months vitamin and 400 mg (2 tablets per day) and 4 cp (2 + 2 at meals) of Piascledine. In two months dynamic ecodoppler and new visit to assess the situation. Reading here and there on the internet I am also worried because the nodule always seems bigger and the erections are increasingly scarce in intensity and duration… so this is my major concern. Can’t you do anything better? It’s only a month since the problem came out and one can’t block it? will I be able to recover or will I be destined at 45 years to have erectile dysfunction forever? Is it possible that these damned plaques that then heal are not able to dissolve? I thank you in advance if you can give me some useful advice. Finally, I also wanted to ask the experts if, given that the peyronue seems to be triggered by traumas (more or less important) if it is better, in the initial phase then of the disease that progresses, to practice abstinence or, even if with difficulty, having sex or at least trying to do it? thanks

Dear Sir, the complete regression of the peyronie occurs very rarely. However, a dynamic ecodoppler would be useful to understand if the plaques give his thought to prove erectile deficit, as well as a hormonal dosage (Peyronie often accompanies low hormones) does not hurt – naturally, if confirmed by your prescriber. Local infiltrations with verapamile could be useful. But nobody has a magic wand to reverse the course of the disease, unfortunately. As for your sexual life, you should do what feels comfortable for you and your partner; abstinence or absence thereof is not likely to affect the course of your disease.

What to do in case of impotence, arrhythmia and sacral loin pains?

I am a 51 year old man and for some time I have been suffering from impotence, accompanied by arrhythmias and pains in the lumbar sacral area. What should I do?

Given your situation, my advice is to contact a cardiologist first, then, once the cardiac / vascular problems have been solved, you can hear the opinion of an andrologist about erectile dysfunction. Both can be associated and it is appropriate to evaluate the link between the 2 disorders.

Hairy penis glans: is it normal?

Hiram

asked 1 year ago

For some months now I have noticed the hairs coming out of the glans, but the thing that seems even stranger to me is that every time I realize it they are already several cm long, and this in a short amount of time .. … even if this last time was slightly different, a small bubble has appeared near the urethra .. which went down parallel to the shaft .. with the passing of the days it swelled slightly giving me much discomfort, even in taking a pee… until when I washed it broke and I was able to remove two hairs about ten cm long … is this normal? Thank you in advance for answering!

Dear User, the glans, like the palm of the hand and the sole of the foot, makes part of the glabrous areas. I have no experience of hair growth in these areas, nor, even less so, of the presence of a 10 cm long hairs…. As such, this is a classic case that requires the competence of a dermatologist, so I suggest you seek help of one without delay.

Pain In Middle Of Shaft

Gilbert

asked 1 year ago

In addition to being a little red the glans, when I touch the penis with my fingers or when I press over or on its sides I feel this little annoying pain in the center of the shaft, it is quite annoying because it happens to me even when I sit or do other movements that make my penis press against my briefs.

The absence of disorders related to urination or ejaculation, which you do not tell us, suggests that the source of pain lies precisely in the tissues of the penis. Given that to express an opinion the direct evaluation would certainly be essential, the experience leads me to think of the simplest cause, and the first thing that comes to my mind is sexual exertion. Maybe a little calm, patience and some simple painkillers can bring things in order in a few days. If this is not the case, direct specialist assessment will become indispensable.

Is a Curved Penis Normal?

Mechelle

asked 1 year ago

Hello dear doctors, I have just started having sex with my new boyfriend and I am concerned because his penis becomes curved too much during erection. I do not experience any discomfort with it, and I do not feel like discussing it with my BF because I do not want to make him feel self-conscious or give him a wrong idea about my sentiments regarding his body, but just in case this is an actual symptom and he needs to see a doctor, should I tell him to do so? And why do some penises stand straight like rods during erection, others curve upward and others curve downward? And why sometimes does the erect penis make such a sharp curve that it looks crooked? There is something wrong? Is everything normal?

answered 1 year ago

Hello! I think your motivation is admirable. The fact that the penis curves during an erection is due to natural human physiology – and it is equally normal that the curve of the penis is not perfectly symmetrical, but that it hangs a little to the right or left. During an erection, the blood vessels of the corpora cavernosa relax, open, blood flows through them, fills them, blood pressure rises and the corpora cavernosa swell. However, during an erection, a penis may curve significantly. If the curve of the penis is extreme and / or causes pain, then it could be a symptom of Peyronie’s disease.

Peyronie’s disease is characterized by accentuated curving of the penis and a painful erection; it is more common in men between 40 and 60 years of age and older – but the first signs may appear much earlier. Plaques form in the penis and they can progressively harden, becoming scar fibrous tissue.

For this reason, if you fear that the penile curve is excessive or an erection causes pain, it is better to talk to an andrologist and then seek a second opinion.

What Causes Morning Wood? What If I Don’t Have It?

Brett

asked 1 year ago

What causes morning wood? Should I be worried if for a few weeks now it has been on and off, mostly off?

Dear Brett, concerning morning erections it is important to understand this: during the day, the brain releases a chemical known as norepinephrine, a hormone that prevents an erection. However, while sleeping, the brain releases the same substance in minimal doses, thus promoting night and morning erections. There is no need to worry if you notice a decrease in the number of days you wake up with an erection, because it may still be present at night. However, if you haven’t woken up with an erection for several months, you should see a doctor. A total lack of erections can be a sign of: depression, chronic stress, heart problems or low testosterone level. Treatment for general problems involves administering statin to get rid of the “blocked” veins of cholesterol or testosterone replacement therapy for people with low testosterone levels.
